It was a truly beautiful thought that still shapes me to this day and I wanna shout about it from the rooftops !
The party started on April 23rd at 6PM with a guest DJ set on WKDU's Sonic Rendezvous and went until the end of the 24th ! It was really easy to attend !! If you were drinking a beverage then you were at my party !!
Old heads may remember the 5th anniversary celebration, which happened deep in early COVID lockdown. I don’t particularly like video chatting and was feeling stressed about getting invited to zoom parties all the time, so I decided to throw a party where the rule was “if you’re drinking a cup of coffee on this day you’re at my party !” It was a hit and really fun and lots of people sent me pictures of themselves drinking coffee, so for the 10th I decided to have a similar party with a public component and have people send in pictures to be included on this page !!!
People loooove to ask me what the thought was but I’m just like … some things are best left unsaid ! Let’s have a little bit more mystery in our lives !! Because whenever I actually explain it sounds so so boring, but the fact is that this thought led to me totally uprooting my entire existence and getting off of a life/career/etc path that would’ve totally ruined me ! I would not be here today if not for this big big thought !! So this is what we're celebrating !!
